The facilities available at Killara Lodge are excellent,
we are very fortunate to live in the gorgeous
Bay of Islands with 15 acres of gently rolling, well
drained park land available to ride and turn out on.

A well sheltered, full size all weather arena allows training to go on in any conditions. The interior stables in the barn allow us to work in comfort on the horses all year around.

All fields have natural shelter and are safe with post and
rail fencing and electric tape. We have a fabulous track
around the around the edge of the paddocks to hack
around after work and a further 10 acres of river land
with spectacular views to enjoy a walk round.

We also have a multitude of unusual animals including
llamas, alpacas and highland cows in neighboring
properties so youngsters are exposed and desensitized
to some of the more unusual sights before arriving
at a competition.
