Alison is the key member of the Killara Show Team.
She rode ponies as a girl and returned to riding over twenty years ago. She has cared for all our horses
and taught her children the basics of
riding from an early age.

Alison no longer rides but she is a vital member of the establishment, managing the total care of the horses
and ponies.

Having competed up to elementary level dressage and ridden many different horses within Byrd’s Dressage,
she is a very competent rider and trained Ellie to
the level she is now at.

Now concentrating on producing both Ellie and her horses/ponies to the highest level in NZ Showing, including HOY and Auckland Royal Easter Show.
